The Road Tax Delivery Cashback Campaign 

The Road Tax Delivery Cashback Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (“Allianz”). By joining this Campaign, the participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein.

Part A: Campaign Period 

  1. The Campaign shall run from 18th September 2023 until 31st October 2023, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”).

Part B: Eligibility

  1. The Campaign is open to all Touch 'n Go eWallet users ("Eligible Participants").

Part C: Campaign Mechanism

  1. The Eligible Participants who have successfully purchased or renewed a Private Car Motor Insurance underwritten by Allianz (“Allianz Motor Insurance”) and the road tax in the same transaction using the promo code, ‘ROADTAX23’ (“Promo Code”) via the CarInsure platform on Touch ‘n Go eWallet website or Touch ‘n Go eWallet app (”CarInsure Platform”) during the Campaign Period (“Qualified Participants”) will be entitled to a cashback amount based on the road tax renewal service or delivery charges (as the case may be)  incurred by the Qualified Participants (“Cashback”)

  2. For the avoidance of doubt, any purchase or renewal of the Allianz Motor Insurance and road tax via any channels other than the CarInsure Platform shall not be eligible for the Cashback

  3. Each Qualified Participant shall be entitled to the following Cashback amount per policy, depending on the type of road tax renewal service selected, as follows:

  1. The Cashback shall be credited to the Qualified Participants’ respective Touch ‘n Go eWallet accounts used to purchase or renew the Allianz Motor Insurance and road tax by the first week of the following month after issuance of the Allianz Motor Insurance policy to the respective Qualified Participants.

  2. Each Eligible Participant may purchase the Allianz Motor Insurance and road tax for more than one (1) vehicle owned and/or registered in the name of the said Eligible Participant.

  3. Delivery of physical road tax under this Campaign is strictly applicable to West Malaysia only. 

  4. The Promo Code is not valid for other campaigns and cannot be used in conjunction or combination with any other on-going offers, promotions, discounts, vouchers and/or privilege cards available on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

  5. The Cashback is not exchangeable for cash or other alternatives.

  6. The Cashback is only limited to the first two thousand (2,000) policies issued throughout the Campaign Period on a “first come, first served” basis.

Part D: Other Conditions 

  1. Allianz reserves the right and has the absolute discretion to vary the Campaign Period, suspend, cancel, or terminate this Campaign with or without any prior notice or reason. For the avoidance of doubt, any of such cancellation, termination, suspension or variation by Allianz shall not entitle the participants to any claim or compensation against Allianz and/or TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (“TNG Digital”)  for any and all losses or damages incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension, or variation.

  2. Allianz shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay in the crediting of the Cashback to the Qualified Participants’ Touch ‘n Go eWallet accounts or any direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, suffered by the participants or any person claiming through the participants in connection with this Campaign.

  3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Cashback is fully sponsored by Allianz but the crediting of the Cashback to the Qualified Participants’ Touch ‘n Go eWallet accounts shall be administered by TNG Digital in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign herein.

  4. The use or application of the Cashback and the Touch ‘n Go eWallet website or Touch ‘n Go eWallet app is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by TNG Digital. TNG Digital shall be entitled to withhold any benefit under the services rendered via Touch ‘n Go eWallet website or Touch ‘n Go eWallet app, without prior notice to the users if the users are found to have been in breached of any TNG Digital’s Users Terms and Conditions https://www.touchngo.com.my/assets/pdf/user-tnc.pdf

  5. The processing of any personal data of the participants provided pursuant to this Campaign shall be in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) and for the purpose relating to this Campaign. By participating in this Campaign, the participants are deemed to have consented to the processing and use of their personal data in accordance with the PDPA without any compensation or need for prior notification

  6. The details which consist of personal data provided by the participants to participate in this Campaign may be used by Allianz, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad and/or Allianz Malaysia Berhad (collectively “Allianz Group of Companies”) and/or TNG Digital for the following purposes:

    a.     Operations and administrative process of this Campaign;

    b.     Update Allianz Group of Companies’ records;

    c.     Market research and statistical analysis and surveys with the aim of improving Allianz Group of Companies' products and services; 

    d.     For advertising and promotion purposes. If the Participants wish to cease receiving any marketing material or no longer wish to be contacted for marketing and promotional purposes, please send an email to customer.service@allianz.com.my to notify Allianz Group of Companies to cease such marketing and promotional activities. Please note that this request will take two (2) to four (4) weeks to take effect; and 

    e.     For any other purposes required by law or regulation.

  7. The details submitted by the participants for the purpose of this Campaign will be collected, processed and/or used in accordance with:

    a.      Allianz's Privacy Statement which is available at: https://www.allianz.com.my/privacy-statement

    b.      TNG Digital’s Privacy Notice which is available at: https://www.touchngo.com.my/policies/privacy-notice/

  8. When using the participants' details for the purposes referred to above, Allianz may need to disclose them to agents of Allianz Group of Companies and/or third-party service providers. When this happens, Allianz will require those parties to handle participants' details using the same level of care that Allianz applies to the same. Allianz will also require them to only use participants' details according to Allianz’s instructions.

  9. Allianz reserves the absolute right, at any time, to verify each participant’s eligibility and reward the Cashback. Allianz’s decision in relation to all aspects of the Campaign are final, binding and conclusive under any circumstances and no correspondence nor appeal will be entertained.

  10. Allianz reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any participant and/or to withhold or forfeit the Cashback to any participant and/or to take any form of action against any participant if Allianz reasonably believes that the participant has abused the Campaign or undertaken fraudulent practices and/or activities or other activities harmful to this Campaign or to Allianz.

  11. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representation contained in any other marketing materials for this Campaign.  

  12. The Terms and Conditions of this Campaign shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
