Terms and Conditions

1.       This Spend Global Like Local Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (“TNGD”).

2.       The campaign period is from 6 May 2024 to 31 July 2024, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”).

3.       This Campaign is open to all individuals who are registered users of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet (“Users”, “you”, “your”).

4.       Campaign Mechanism

4.1.    In order to be eligible for this Campaign and to stand a chance to win Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred (RM500) worth of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit (“Prize”), Users shall fulfill all of the following criteria(s):

(a)    Create and upload a creative and educational video on the Users’ TikTok or Instagram account, demonstrating how to make payments overseas via Paynet or Alipay using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet mobile application. The video should highlight the convenience and accessibility of this payment method while mentioning the specific country you are visiting or referencing (“Post”); 

(b)    Mention Touch ‘n Go eWallet and tag @touchngoewallet on the Post;

(c)     Include the hashtags #GOabroad; and

(d)    Set the privacy setting of your TikTok and Instagram account to “public” (i.e. not set as “hidden” or “private”).

5.       Winners Selection and Announcement

5.1.    Four (4) winners  (“Winners”) will be selected monthly based on the most creative and educational videos submitted during each month of the Campaign Period. For the avoidance of doubt, of these Winners for each month, two (2) Winners will be chosen from the TikTok entries and two (2) Winners will be chosen from the Instagram entries received for that month.

 

5.2.    Each winner will only be eligible on one of the social media platforms.

 

5.3.    Each selected winner is entitled to only ONE (1) prize throughout the contest period.

 

5.4.     The Winners will be announced on TNGD’s official social media platform after the end of the Campaign Period or as and when determined by TNGD from time to time.

 

5.5.    The monthly Prizes during the Campaign Period for this Campaign shall be categorized as follows:

(a)    RM500 TNG eWallet credit each for two (2) Winners from the eligible TikTok entries; and

(b)    RM500 TNG eWallet credit each for two (2) Winners from the eligible Instagram entries.

 

5.6.    TNGD will notify the Winners via email following the registered email address of your Touch ‘n Go eWallet. For avoidance of doubt, the Winners shall respond to the email within three (3) days from the day the email was sent. In the event the Winner fails to respond or acknowledge to such email, TNGD shall have the right to forfeit the Prize from the Winner and the Prize shall be deemed void.

 

5.7.    TNGD shall credit the Prize into the respective Winners’ Touch ‘n Go eWallet account after each Winner has acknowledged the receipt of the email sent by TNGD.

 

6.       TNGD reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes listed above with another prize of equivalent value due to any reason as determined by TNGD.

 

7.       All Prizes are non-transferable to another individual and non-negotiable. No replacement and/or exchange of Prize will be entertained.

 

8.       The selection of the Winners shall be final and binding and no queries, challenges or appeals shall be made to TNGD.

 

9.       TNGD will not be responsible for any disputes or claims that arise from the Winner’s failure to receive the necessary email or Prize from TNGD which may have been due to the fault or negligence of the Winner, wrong e-mail provided, or shared email account is used.

 

10.   This Campaign shall not be valid with other ongoing promotions, discounts or vouchers.

 

11.   By participating in this Campaign, all Users:-

 

(a)    Consent for TNGD to collect, record, hold, store, use, and disclose your personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in this Campaign;

(b)    Consent for TNGD to disclose or publish their personal information such as your names, last 4 digits of the IC number and any general information in any media, marketing, or advertising materials; and

(c)     Grant TNGD the right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial, or other related purposes, without any payment or compensation.

 

12.   TNGD employees are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.

 

13.   TNGD shall be entitled to withhold any benefits under the services rendered, with prior notice to the Users if the Users are found to have been in breach of any TNGD’s Users Terms and Conditions.
