In partnership with Arus Oil, the initiative allows users to conveniently schedule pick-ups for used cooking oil from their home or business directly through their eWallet.

    By integrating Arus Oil into our platform, TNG eWallet is taking a significant step towards supporting the circular economy. The collected oil is exported to treatment plants, where it is converted into biodiesel, which is used to power industrial vehicles and machinery, contributing to a more sustainable environment.

  2. What’s the minimum weight required for Arus Oil pick-up, and how much does it cost?

    Pick-up is free for used cooking oil weighing 5kg or more through the Arus Oil programme. Simply schedule a collection via your eWallet if your used cooking oil meets the minimum weight requirement.

  3. How do I schedule an Arus Oil pick-up for used cooking oil?

    Scheduling a pick-up is easy. Launch your eWallet, tap on "More," and select Arus Oil. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a pick-up appointment for your used cooking oil.

  4. How much eWallet credit will I receive for my used cooking oil and when will Arus Oil credit my account?

    After the pick-up, Arus Oil will weigh the collected used cooking oil. The eWallet credit will be added to your eWallet balance based on the final weight, according to the following tiers:

    1. Below 30kg: RM2/kg

    2. 30kg and above: RM3/kg

    Please allow 1 working day from the collection and weighing for Arus Oil to credit your account.

  5. Can my staff schedule the appointment for used cooking oil pick-up through Arus Oil, and have the eWallet credit added to the business owner's account?

    Your staff can schedule the appointment for the used cooking oil pick-up. However, the eWallet credit will be added to the account associated with the eWallet ID used to create the appointment. If you want the eWallet credit to be added to the business owner's account, the business owner themselves must schedule the appointment from their own eWallet.

  6. Must I store my used cooking oil in containers for collection through Arus Oil, and is there a preferred container?

    Yes, you should store your used cooking oil in containers for collection. Any container will do. On collection day, Arus Oil will transfer the oil from your container into their collection tank.

  7. What type of oil can I donate through Arus Oil?

    Arus Oil only accepts used cooking oil, such as oil used in cooking, frying, or other food preparation processes. Engine oil or black oil are not accepted as part of this recycling programme.

  8. Can I schedule multiple pick-ups from different locations through Arus Oil on TNG eWallet?

    Yes, you can schedule multiple pick-ups by creating separate appointments for each location using the Arus Oil scheduler from your eWallet.

  9. Which locations does Arus Oil provide pick-up services for?

    Arus Oil currently offers pick-up services in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Kuala Lumpur. Stay tuned, as Arus Oil plans to expand to more locations soon.

  10. Can I change or cancel my appointment with Arus Oil through my eWallet after booking?

    Yes, you can modify or cancel your appointment through Arus Oil in your eWallet before the scheduled pick-up date. However, changes or cancellations cannot be made once you have received a confirmation from the driver regarding your pick-up.
