Q1      What does this Contest offer?

A1       This Contest offers a chance to win one of the Prizes when you purchase a MyCTOS Score Report (including purchase via Touch ‘n Go eWallet application during Contest period).

Q2      Can I participate in this Contest?

A2       All Touch n’ Go eWallet users can participate in this Contest except employees of CTOS, Touch ‘n Go and their immediate families (spouses, children, parents and parents-in-law).

Q3      When is the Contest period?

A3       The Contest begins on 17 October 2022 and ends on 16 November 2022 (both dates inclusive).

Q4      How do I qualify for a chance to win one of the Prizes?

A4  You must sign up for a CTOS User ID (CTOS account) or have an existing CTOS User ID. Touch n’ Go eWallet users who purchase a MyCTOS Score Report via the Touch n’ Go eWallet mobile application are automatically signed up for a CTOS User ID.

To get a chance to win, you must purchase a MyCTOS Score Report during the Contest period.

Q5      What is in a MyCTOS Score Report?

A5       It is a personal credit report that contains detailed information about your debt, account histories for credit cards and loans such as payment history, including any late payments, your credit limits or loan amounts, your account balances and credit inquiries. Legal cases and bankruptcies are also listed in a separate section of the credit report as well as directorships, business interests and non-bank debts (Trade Reference).

The report also includes your credit score and recommendations on what you can do to improve this score.

Q6      What are the Contest Prizes?

A6       The Contest Prizes are:

1st prize: iPhone 14 128GB (RRP of RM4,199)

2nd prize: Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer (RRP of RM2,299)

3rd prize: Nintendo Switch OLED Console (RRP of RM1,599)

Q7      How are Contest winners selected?

A7       If you qualify for a chance to win, you will receive three (3) questions via your registered email address. You are required to answer all questions correctly to be in the running to win the prize.

Q8      What if there is a tie? Is there a tie-breaker?

A8       Yes, there is a tie-breaker. The user with the highest CTOS Score(s) will be chosen as winner(s).

Q9      How will I know if I am the selected winner?

A9       The results of the Contest will be announced on CTOS’s and Touch ‘n Go’s official Facebook pages within fourteen (14) working days from the end of Contest period. CTOS will notify the Contest winners by email and phone.

Q10  Why should purchase a MyCTOS Score Report?

A10 It is good financial management practise to understand your credit health. With the recommendations in the report, you can also work towards improving your credit score.

Besides, banks and other lenders use this information as part of the credit evaluation process before approving any credit applications like credit cards and loans. Knowing what’s in your credit report will help you identify areas to fix so you can get higher changes of loan approval.

The importance of having a good credit report isn’t limited to financial products only. Potential landlords may also review your credit report to decide whether to rent their property to you or not. Some employers even check credit reports as part of the job application process.

Q11  Will my credit score in the MyCTOS Score Report change over time?

A11 Yes, it will. We recommend a new report every three (3) months to check if your credit score has improved and for you to be updated on where you stand in your credit health.
