Independent Non-Executive Director

Background

Reza Ghazali was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of TNG Digital on 30 August 2023.

He is a Client Partner, Head of Asia Pacific & Head of Board Services, ASEAN at Pedersen & Partners Kuala Lumpur. Based in Malaysia, Reza brings more than 30+ years of experience in Business & Technology Consulting, Change Management, Executive & Board Search & Talent Leadership Assessment to multinational coporations and local conglomerates, with a focus on Government Linked Companies (GLC) across various industry sectors such as Technology/Telecommunications, Industrial, FMCG/Retail, Financial Services and Consulting/Professional Advisory.

Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, he was the Office Managing Director for the world’s largest Executive Search firm in Malaysia and previously with Accenture as Senior Consultant in the Change Management & Strategic Services Practices. These mandates enabled him to gain experience in strategic change management, business process re-engineering, project management, business & technology consulting, organisation restructuring and skills development programs.

In early 2005, Reza was made Independent Non-Executive Director for a then Mesdaq-listed IT services company. He was made Independent Non-Executive Director for the exclusive global hotel chain of Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and KL Business Club. He was also honored with the rank of Major in the Malaysian Territorial Army by the Malaysian Armed Forces.

Reza received his early education in Switzerland, earning a double Diploma from ‘Les Roches’ Hotel Management School, Bluche-Sur-Sierre. He also holds a B.Arts in Economics from Northern Illinois University in the United States.
