Shahnaz Jammal was appointed as a board member of TNG Digital on 27 October 2020. He was re-designated to Independent Director on 29 May 2023.
Shahnaz is currently the Group CFO of TIME dotCom Berhad. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer, Group Wholesale Banking of CIMB Group. Prior to this, he was the Chief Financial Officer of CIMB Group. Before his role as Group CFO, he served in various capacities in CIMB in Group Finance, Group Risk Management, Corporate Client Solutions and PT Bank CIMB NiagaTbk.
Prior to joining CIMB, Shahnaz was with Goldman Sachs in London, England. He has also worked at Bankers Trust and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, as well as ABN AMRO Bank in Kuala Lumpur.
Shahnaz has over 20 years of banking experience covering mergers & acquisitions advisory, risk advisory, trading, risk management, corporate and investment banking, capital and balance sheet management, and finance.
His qualifications include an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom and Bachelor (Double First Class) and Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
