Terms and Conditions

1.0 Introduction

Money Packet is a feature which allows users to create digital money packets as a gift in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet (“TNG eWallet”) and thereafter send the Money Packet to other TNG eWallet users.  

2.0 Creating Money Packet

  1. Users (“Sender”) will be able to send Money Packet via the following steps:  
    a) Click ‘Transfer’ on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app homepage.
    b) At the top of the page, select ‘Money Packet’. 
    c) Click on ‘Create a Money Packet’. 
    d) Choose the type of distribution with 'Random' or 'Equal'.
    e) Fill in the necessary details to create Money Packet as shown in Table 2.1. 
    f) Click ‘Preview’ to double check your setup. 
    g) Tap on ‘Create Money Packet’ to confirm your Money Packet.  
    h) Upon entering your 6-digit PIN, you will be able to share the generated URL link or the QR code to the desired Receivers (as defined below) via various online channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, WeChat, E-mail or others.

  2. The creation of the Money Packet shall be subject to the following:  a) Completed account verification;  
    b) Not more than ten (10) ‘In-progress’ Money Packets at the same time;  
    c) Sufficient balance in either eWallet or GO+ wallet;  
    d) The Money Packet amount will not hit the monthly transaction limit; and
    e) Installed TNG eWallet app with 1.7.90 version and above  

  3. Sender’s eWallet balance will be prioritized for the creation of the Money Packet. If the eWallet balance is insufficient, the GO+ balance will be used to create the Money Packet.  

  4. For random distribution, the total sum received by each Receiver from the Money Packet will be randomised by the system with a minimum value of RM0.01. 

  5. For equal distribution, each Money Packet will contain the same amount and each receiver will receive the same amount.

  6. Each Money Packet created by the Sender is valid for 24 hours from the time of creation. 

  7. The sender will only be able to view the Money Packet status as listed in the following Table 2.2 after successfully creating the Money Packet.

  8. The ‘In-progress’ Money Packet can be cancelled by the Sender if the Sender wishes to end the on-going Money Packet transfer session.  

  9. If there is any unclaimed or undistributed or remaining fund balance in the cancelled/expired Money Packet, it will be refunded automatically to the Sender’s Touch ‘n Go eWallet account within twenty-four (24) hours. 

  10. The sender shall able to check back the past and current Money Packet activities including its status and all the successful transfers transaction under the 'History' section.  

  11. The sender shall able to see all the Receivers’ personal information such as full name, phone number and received amount in the ‘Leaderboard’ and/or 'List of Receivers'. 

  12. The Sender acknowledges that the Sender is solely responsible to ensure that the URL link or the QR code is sent to the intended recipient. In the event the URL link or the QR code is sent to the wrong recipient and/or if it is shared privately or on public space by the Sender or Receiver, the Sender will not be entitled to claim back such sums from a non-intended Receiver and TNGD shall not be liable for any losses suffered by the Sender.  

3.0 Receiving Money Packet

  1. Only registered Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can receive the money from Money Packet.   

  2. Once users have received a valid Money Packet URL link or the QR code, users (“Receiver”) can use the ‘Scan’ function in Touch ‘n Go eWallet app to scan the QR code or click on the link and tap on “Open Now” to receive a randomized amount from the total Money Packet amount sent by Sender.

  3. In order to successfully claim a Money Packet, the Receiver shall ensure the following:
    a) Receive money once only from one (1) Money Packet;b) The receiving money amount doesn’t make you to exceed the Wallet balance limit;  
    c) The Money Packet is still in ‘In progress’ status;  
    d) Not receiving own Money Packet; and
    e) Install TNG eWallet with 1.7.90 version and above

  4. Receiver shall be able to view all received money transactions from Money Packet at the Money Packet page under the 'History' section, or else, through ‘Transaction History’ on homepage. 

  5. Receiver shall not be able to see other Receivers’ personal information such as full name, phone number in ‘Leaderboard’ and/or 'List of Receivers'.  

4.0 Others

TNG Digital shall be entitled to withhold any benefit under the services rendered, with prior notice to the users if the users are found to have been in breach of any of TNG Digital’s Users Terms and Conditions (https://www.touchngo.com.my/assets/pdf/user-tnc.pdf)

1.0 Pengenalan

“Money Packet” merupakan satu fungsi baru yang membenarkan pengguna untuk membuat paket wang digital sebagai hadiah dalam Touch ‘n Go eWallet (“TNG eWallet”) dan kemudiannya menghantar paket wang tersebut kepada pengguna TNG eWallet yang lain. 

2.0 Membuat Money Packet

  1. Pengguna (“Penghantar”) akan dapat menghantar Money Packet melalui langkah-langkah berikut: 
    a) Klik ‘Hantar’ pada laman utama aplikasi Touch ‘n Go eWallet   
    b) Pada bahagian atas laman, pilih ‘Money Packet’   
    c) Klik pada ‘Create a Money Packet’   
    d) Pilih jenis pengedaran dengan 'Rawak' atau 'Sama Rata'.
    e) Isikan butir-butir yang diperlukan untuk membuat Money Packet seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam Jadual 2.1.   
    f) Klik ‘Preview’ bagi menyemak semula tetapan anda 
    g) Ketik pada ‘Create Money Packet’ untuk mengesahkan Money Packet anda   
    h) Setelah memasukkan PIN 6-digit anda, anda akan dapat berkongsi pautan URL atau kod QR yang dihasilkan kepada Penerima yang dikehendaki (seperti butir dibawah) melalui pelbagai saluran dalam talian seperti WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, WeChat, E-mel atau lain-lain.     Jadual 2. 1: Butir untuk menmbuat Money Packet

  2. Pembuatan Money Packet adalah tertakluk kepada berikut:a) Lengkap pengesahan akaun; 
    b) Tidak melebihi sepuluh (10) Money Packet “In-progress” dalam satu masa;  
    c) Baki yang mencukupi sama ada dalam eWallet atau GO+ wallet; dan 
    d) Amaun Money Packet tidak akan mencapai limit transaksi bulanan
    e) TNG eWallet dimuat turun dengan versi 1.7.90 dan ke atas

  3. Baki eWallet Penghantar akan diutamakan untuk pembuatan Money Packet. Jika baki eWallet tidak mencukupi, baki GO+ akan digunakan untuk membuat Money Packet. 

  4. Untuk pengedaran rawak, jumlah amaun diterima oleh setiap Penerima daripada Money Packet akan secara rawak oleh sistem dengan nilai minimum RM0.01.

  5. Unutk pengedaran sama rata, amaun setiap paket akan sama untuk diterima oleh setiap Penerima daripada Money Packet

  6. Setiap Money Packet yang dibuat oleh Penghantar hanya sah selama tempoh 24 jam dari masa pembuatan.   

  7. Penghantar hanya akan melihat status Money Packet seperti yang disenaraikan di Jadual 2.2 selepas berjaya membuat Money Packet. Jadual 2. 2: Keterangan Status Money Packet

  8. Money Packet yang mempunyai status “In-progress” boleh dibatalkan oleh Penghantar bila-bila sahaja jika Penghantar mahu menghentikan sesi pemindahan Money Packet yang sedang berjalan.   

  9. Jika ada sebarang baki wang yang tidak dituntut atau diagihkan dalam Money Packet yang telah dibatalkan / tamat tempoh (“Cancelled” / ”Ended”), baki wang tersebut akan dipulangkan balik secara automatik kepada akaun Touch ‘n Go eWallet Penghantar dalam masa dua puluh empat (24) jam berikutnya. 

  10. Penghantar boleh menyemak semula aktiviti Money Paket yang lalu atau semasa termasuk juga status dan semua transaksi yang berjaya dibawah bahagian ‘History’.   

  11. Penghantar boleh melihat semua info Penerima seperti nama penuh, nombor telefon dan amaun yang diterima dalam bahagian ‘Leaderboard’ dan/atau 'Senarai Penerima'.    

  12. Penghantar mangakui bahawa Penghantar bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan pautan URL atau kod QR dihantar kepada penerima yang dikehendaki. Sekiranya pautan URL atau kod QR tersebut dihantar kepada Penerima yang salah dan/atau dikongsikan secara peribadi atau di kawasan awam oleh Penghantar atau Penerima, Penghantar tidak berhak untuk menuntut kembali jumlah daripada Penerima yang tidak dikehendaki dan TNGD tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap sebarang kerugian yang dialami oleh Penghantar. 

3.0 Menerima Money Packet

  1. Hanya pengguna Touch ‘n Go eWallet berdaftar sahaja yang boleh menerima wang daripada Money Packet.   

  2. Apabila pengguna telah menerima QR kod atau pautan Money Packet yang sah, pengguna ("Penerima") boleh menggunakan fungsi 'Scan' dalam aplikasi Touch 'n Go eWallet untuk mengimbas QR kod atau klik pada pautan. Kemudian, ketik pada "Open Now" untuk menerima amaun secara rawak daripada jumlah amaun Money Pakcket yang dihantar oleh Penghantar.

  3. Untuk berjaya menerima Money Packet, Penerima hendaklah memastikan perkara berikut: a) Terima wang sekali sahaja daripada satu (1) Money Packet; 
    b) Jumlah wang yang diterima tidak menjadikan anda melebihi had baki Wallet; 
    c) Money Packet masih dalam status ‘In progress’;
    d) Tidak menerima Money Packet sendiri; dan
    e)     TNG eWallet dimuat turun dengan versi 1.7.90 dan ke atas

  4. Penerima boleh melihat semua transaksi wang yang telah diterima daripada Money Packet pada laman Money Packet, di bawah bahagian ‘History’, ataupun, menerusi bahagian ‘Transaction History’ pada laman utama.   

  5. Penerima tidak boleh melihat info Penerima lain seperti nama penuh, nombor telefon di bahagian ‘Leaderboard’ dan/atau 'Senarai Penerima'. 

4.0 Lain-lain

TNG Digital berhak untuk menahan sebarang faedah di bawah perkhidmatan yang diberikan, dengan notis awal kepada pengguna jika pengguna didapati telah melanggar mana-mana Terma dan Syarat Pengguna TNG Digital (https://www.touchngo.com.my/assets/pdf/user-tnc.pdf)
