Touch ‘n Go showcases Malaysia’s home-grown open-payment ecosystem, marking a key step toward seamless and connected mobility.

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 November 2025 – Touch ’n Go Sdn Bhd (“Touch ‘n Go”) today unveiled its next generation open payment mobility ecosystem at MyARTTE 2025, marking a major step in how Malaysians move, pay and commute. The showcase demonstrated how locally developed technologies are transforming the journey from highways to everyday mobility through a unified, open payment platform.

The presentation featured Titan Flow, Touch ’n Go’s own home-grown Multi-Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) platform, together with a range of digital innovations spanning tolling, parking, transit and corporate mobility. These products form a part of an integrated ecosystem designed to make travel across Malaysia faster, safer and entirely seamless.

Touch ’n Go Group demonstrated its readiness to deploy smart, barrier-free tolling systems that are accurate, scalable and enforcement ready, reflecting the company’s strength in Malaysia and its growing capacity to support open payment mobility solutions in the region. Its payment mobility ecosystem serves over 24 million eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) verified users and four million RFID motorists, providing a strong and secure foundation for nationwide digital tolling and a seamless open payment experience.

One of the key innovations within this ecosystem is SOS Balance, also known as “Gerak Dulu, Nanti Roger!”, which has benefited participating highways and more than 14 million motorists, facilitating over RM42 million in toll payments for those with insufficient balance in just nine months. The feature allows motorists to pass through tolls smoothly even when their balance is low, while offering a 24-hour grace period to reload their Touch ’n Go eWallet — ensuring uninterrupted travel for the rakyat, protecting highway revenues, and reinforcing confidence in the reliability of Kumpulan Touch ’n Go’s payment ecosystem.

At the heart of Touch ’n Go’s mobility platform is Titan Flow, a fully integrated end-to-end MLFF system developed by Malaysians for Malaysians and beyond. The system combines Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as the primary detection technology with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and 3D LiDAR, enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI) for real-time vehicle classification and enforcement accuracy. AI enables Titan Flow to distinguish vehicle types more precisely and classify them automatically, improving toll accuracy and fairness for all road users. When paired with LiDAR sensors, the AI system analyses each vehicle’s dimensions, position and motion patterns, ensuring highly reliable detection even under complex traffic and severe tropical weather conditions. This intelligence also supports future capabilities such as dynamic tolling pricing, where rates can adjust based on traffic conditions or vehicle class to improve road efficiency.

Beyond highways, Touch ’n Go’s mobility ecosystem extends into parking, public transport and corporate fleet management. The Parking Ecosystem integrates ticketless and cashless License Plate Recognition (LPR) parking with nationwide On-Street Parking payments through the Touch ’n Go eWallet. In public transit, the Digital Transit Pass, developed in collaboration with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (“Prasarana”), enables unlimited rides on Rapid KL’s rail and bus networks, creating a smoother and more connected commuting experience. Touch ’n Go’s Fleet Solutions platform provides real-time monitoring and control of toll transactions, giving companies better visibility, accountability and operational efficiency across their vehicle fleets.

“Touch ’n Go is Malaysia’s oldest fintech company and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026,” said Praba Sangarajoo, Chief Executive Officer of Touch ’n Go Sdn Bhd. “Over the decades, we have continued to evolve and deliver new solutions that make travel easier for Malaysians, by Malaysians, powered by homegrown technology and local innovation.
