TNG Digital partners with Pusat Pungutan Zakat - Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan as appointed zakat agent

TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (“TNG Digital”), Malaysia's leading fintech player and operator of TNG eWallet, has been appointed by the Pusat Pungutan Zakat - Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan as the zakat agent as part of its commitment to easing the process of fulfilling religious obligations for Muslims. To accommodate our users in other states, TNG Digital also integrated two additional zakat institutions, namely Zakat Pulau Pinang and Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah, into its TNG eWallet.
This expansion arrives just in time for Ramadan 2024, offering a convenient avenue for Muslims across various regions including Penang, Sabah, Selangor, Pahang, Wilayah Persekutuan, Negeri Sembilan, and Kedah to fulfil their zakat duties effortlessly. Starting March 2024, Muslim users with Android phones can seamlessly access and pay their zakat, including zakat fitrah, through the TNG eWallet.

Users can now enjoy a fully digital method of paying their zakat that is convenient, safe, and seamless through the TNG eWallet with just a few simple steps:
· Launch the TNG eWallet and tap on the 'Bills' tile
· Tap on "Zakat"
· Select your preferred Zakat institution and type of Zakat you wish to pay
· Enter the amount and your PIN number
