Alliance Bank and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd Sign MoU to Introduce Accessible Digital Financial Solutions

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Alliance Bank” or the “Bank”) and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (“TNGD”) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) to pave the way for more customers to obtain digital financial solutions with just a few taps on the mobile phone.

By integrating the expertise and strengths of the Bank and TNGD, the application process is simplified and convenient on Touch ‘n Go eWallet, which is the largest payment platform in Malaysia.

“At Alliance Bank, we build the value propositions of our products and solutions around our customers. Working with a like-minded partner like TNG Digital enables us to provide this “Bank in Your Pocket” solution as an additional option for digitally savvy customers. This strategic partnership also reflects the Bank’s continuous digital transformation in our Acceler8 strategy to deliver personalised banking products and services that meet evolving market needs,” said Ms Gan Pai Li, Group Chief Consumer Banking Officer of Alliance Bank.

“Our commitment to providing a seamless user experience in this dynamic digital landscape has led us to this partnership with Alliance Bank. Together, we can deliver financial solutions and enhanced product offerings for our users with speed and convenience, which complements our continued efforts to promote financial inclusion," said Mr Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNGD.

The partnership will allow for the digital financial solutions to be available to those who otherwise would not have been able to access conventional banking services. Customers can look forward to a more seamless customer experience with access to payment and financial solutions via the eWallet platform as the solution comes onstream.
