Duties & Responsibilities
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, executing, and closing projects that directly or indirectly drive business objectives. The project may leverage on technology. This role is not limited to IT-exclusive projects but extends to initiatives across various business functions where technology often serves as a key enabler. The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget (if applicable), ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and stakeholder expectations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects that support business objectives and digital transformation.
Define project scope, goals, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Identify and mitigate risks; resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, marketing, and ex-ternal vendors.
Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Drive adoption of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and embed continuous im-provement.
Champion project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
PMP or Agile certification preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years managing complex projects with technology components.
Strong understanding of IT systems and business processes; ability to bridge technical and business needs.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in PM tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project).
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
Ability to adapt to evolving business and technology landscapes.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports to Head of BPMO.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office-based, five days a week.
