Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Senior Associate will support the Senior Manager in driving TNG eWallet’s Bumiputera Segment Growth strategy. This role focuses on assisting with planning, execution, data analysis, partnership coordination, and campaign operations to strengthen adoption, usage, and engagement within the Bumiputera segment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Assist in executing the Bumiputera Segment Growth Strategy, including acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • 2. Support partnership development efforts by preparing proposals, conducting research, coordinating meetings, and managing documentation with government agencies, GLCs, cooperatives, NGOs, and community organizations.
  • 3. Coordinate marketing and outreach activities, including community events, religious-based programs, CSR engagements, and segment-focused digital marketing initiatives.
  • 4. Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends, user behavior insights, opportunities, and performance gaps within the Bumiputera segment.
  • 5. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review, summarizing initiative progress, KPIs, and campaign outcomes.
  • 6. Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Compliance, Legal, Partnerships, CSR) to ensure smooth planning and implementation of segment-related programs.
  • 7. Manage operational and administrative tasks, including budgeting support, tracking project timelines, documenting approvals, and ensuring compliance with internal governance.
  • 8. Assist in executing cross-functional campaigns by coordinating resources, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
  • 9. Provide on-ground support for events, community engagements, and strategic activations when required.
  • 10. Undertake any other special assignments, ad-hoc tasks, or related duties as specified by the Senior Manager or Head of Division/Department.

Requirements

  • Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1. Academic Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, Finance, or any related field.
  • 2. Years of Experience
  • 2–3 years of relevant working experience in:
  • Marketing, partnerships, community engagement
  • Fintech, eWallet, digital products, or financial services
  • Government or NGO-related programs
  • Experience working with Bumiputera communities or institutions is an added advantage.
  • 3. Technical & Functional Skills
  • Good understanding of:
  • Malaysian consumer market and community dynamics
  • Digital payments, fintech ecosystem, and financial inclusion initiatives
  • Skilled in:
  • Basic data analysis and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards)
  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and briefings
  • Coordinating marketing and outreach campaigns
  • 4. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Comfortable engaging with government agencies, community leaders, NGOs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Good networking and relationship-building ability.
  • 5. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to interpret data, identify insights, and recommend action points.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
