Technical Risk Manager

Job Description
  • Conduct IT Risk assessment and provide security advisory on risk mitigation controls for applications and IT infrastructure projects
  • Ensure all assessment conducted are properly documented and with endorsement from senior management
  • Perform security review and risk assessment and monitor security standard compliance of infrastructure and application
  • Continuously improve IT Security risk assessment criteria based on new emerging threat, security best practices, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of IS strategy and programmes
  • Become a security advisory to business and technology for implementation of new products, tools, applications and/or infrastructure
  • Focal point to provide security and threat advisories to both business and technology.
  • Assist in Security Projects and enhancement within department when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science, Engineering, Information Systems or its equivalents.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in hands-on technical security risk assessment and industry certifications will be a plus -e.g.: CRISC, CISA and CISM
  • Knowledge of information security risks, Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively (clear, concise and professionally) with all levels within TNGD
  • Highly result-oriented and can work independently while handling multiple concurrent security assessment assignments.
  • Able to build relationship and interact effectively with internal and external parties. Strong engagement skills with stakeholders i.e business and technology will be a plus.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement in applying established techniques, procedures or standards
  • Knowledge of information security risks, Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively (clear, concise and professionally) with all levels within TNGD
  • Experience of working roles requiring high level of technical standards and operating with legislative and regulatory framework.
  • Experience within financial institution environment would be an added advantage.
  • Adhere to instructions on routine work and takes part in new project or assignments.
