Chief Operations Officer
Liza Woon Yin Yin has been an integral part of the Touch ‘n Go family since 15 August 2024, when she joined as Deputy Chief Operations Officer. In recognition of her exceptional leadership and strategic vision, Liza assumed the role of Chief Operations Officer, effective 1 December 2024.
As COO, Liza oversees the organisation’s core operational framework, driving the effective translation of strategy into high‑quality services across B2C, B2B, and B2G segments. She leads the transformation of the Operations Division by championing cultural change, enhancing service delivery, elevating customer experience, and streamlining operational processes. Under her leadership, these initiatives deliver increased cost efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth, strengthening Touch ‘n Go’s competitive position.
With over 17 years of extensive experience, Liza brings deep expertise in operations management, customer experience, process optimisation, and automation across the financial services and insurance industries. She is widely recognised for delivering large‑scale, transformative solutions that drive operational excellence while maintaining a strong customer‑centric focus.
Prior to joining Touch ‘n Go, Liza held senior leadership roles at prominent organisations including Tune Protect Group, AXA, UOB, and Alliance Bank Malaysia. At Tune Protect, she led major operational transformations that delivered significant cost savings and improved efficiency. Her innovative leadership at both Tune Protect and AXA saw the automation and streamlining of millions of transactions, resulting in substantial productivity gains. At UOB and Alliance Bank, she designed award‑winning customer engagement programmes, optimised CRM systems, and managed high‑net‑worth client portfolios, driving sustainable business growth and customer retention.
A certified Scrum Master and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Liza is known for her ability to lead cross‑functional teams, deliver measurable outcomes, and drive organisational transformation. Her commitment to operational excellence and customer‑focused innovation positions her as a key force behind Touch ‘n Go’s continued success and growth.
