Background

Praba Sangarajoo was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd on 1 April 2023. He joined Touch ‘n Go as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Business and Growth in June 2021. In less than two years, he had spearheaded the launch of new products and introduced new revenue streams, including RFID for expressway toll payments and fueling, the enhanced Touch ‘n Go NFC-enabled card for improved customer conveniences, and the acquisition of an unprecedented number of new parking sites in 2022.

As Chief Executive Officer of Touch ‘n Go, Praba will be responsible for managing the overall operations, driving profitability, and taking the company to the next level of growth.

Prior to joining Touch ‘n Go, Praba was Chief Executive Officer of Xperanti IoT, and before that, Chief Operating Officer, Rail Business at Sapura Secured Technologies. He also served in management capacities in large multinational companies and Malaysian organisations such as Nokia Siemens Networks, Siemens Malaysia, and Fujitsu.

Praba has more than two decades of industry experience in engineering, technology sales and implementation, large-scale project delivery, revenue and profitability management across multiple business lines. He holds a Bachelor in Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Northumbria.
