Marliana Othman was appointed Head of Compliance, TNG Digital Sdn Bhd on 17 July 2023. She holds a record of leading a various business function in providing an assurance that business and company’s regulatory compliance is fulfilled, operational risks are managed, and strategic operation supports are provided with a focus on customer experience, business revenue & sustainability, process efficiency and high level of productivity.

As the Head of Compliance of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, Marliana is responsible Oversees and monitors the implementation of compliance guidelines in relation to eWallet business and ensures high compliance with regulatory requirements. She will also act as an advisor to the Board, Senior Management and business and support units within TNGD on compliance and regulatory requirements.

Prior to that, she was the Head of Enterprise Risk Management & Integrity with Boost Holdings Sdn Bhd (BHSB). She was responsible to manage and oversee a shared Enterprise Risk functions (including Risk Governance and Compliance, Operational Risk, Third Party Risk, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Crisis & Incident Management) and compliance to Anti-Bribery & Corruptions (Integrity) for BHSB and its operating companies.

She began her career in payment system industry with American Express’ (Amex) as an Authoriser/ Credit Analyst. Consequently, she continued her journey and served in Maybank, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), AEON Credit Service Malaysia (ACSM) & Axiata Digital eCode (ADE).

Marliana Othman graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) (Hons) and Diploma in Banking from UiTM, Malaysia. Furthermore, she is a certified AICA and an associate member of International Compliance of Association (ICA). She is also a Business Continuity Certified Planner (BCCP) with BCM Institute, Malaysia.
