Kaya Qin was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. on 11 June 2024.

She is the Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Malaysia, a role she has held since December 2023, while concurrently serving as Chief Business Officer at Lazada Group. Kaya is recognised for her strategic clarity, commercial depth, and ability to build high-performing teams that deliver sustainable growth.

She joined Lazada in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer for Lazada Vietnam, where she led commercial expansion and strengthened the platform’s operational backbone. She was later appointed CEO of Lazada Vietnam in 2022, and in the same year, took on the role of Chief Operating Officer for Lazada Group, overseeing business operations across multiple markets and shaping the platform’s regional transformation agenda.

Prior to Lazada, Kaya held key leadership positions within the Alibaba Group, where she led strategic business development initiatives and drove market growth across priority business verticals. Her career also includes senior brand leadership in the FMCG sector in China, where she delivered measurable gains in brand value and market performance.

Kaya holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Nanjing University and completed a joint Master’s Programme in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.
