This time around, through Zappers, we are targeting to sell 10,000 cards each week, a 40 per cent increase from last year’s 6,000 cards sold each week. We are also offering more value for money as these cards come with free insurance coverage for the customers.”

She added, “Touch ‘n Go is about convenience. Convenience saves time and reduces stress. It is also an integrated payment card, which can be used for public transport and retail. It is the one travel card, and we believe everybody should have one!”

Meanwhile, PLUS Expressways Berhad General Manager of Operations Division En Mohammad Fuad Khusairi said that all PLUS cash lanes were equipped with Touch ‘n Go readers. “This is to provide more options for Touch ‘n Go customers to either use the dedicated Touch ‘n Go lanes or the cash lanes. For us at PLUS, electronic payment mode means more efficiency and faster throughput at lanes, especially during peak period.”
