Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd (TNGSB) recently contributed the proceeds of sales of Touch ‘n Go cards during the month of Ramadhan to two charitable bodies.
The two charitable bodies were Islamic Relief Malaysia and Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih, Puchong.
Islamic Relief Malaysia is a non-governmental organization, which constantly distributes food packages to beneficiaries nationwide, which include single mothers, the disabled, orphans and old folks.
Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih is an orphanage in Puchong, which houses some 70 orphans.
The total amount of RM40,500 was derived from the sales of Touch ‘n Go cards during Ramadhan, effectively from 13th September to 8th October. Fifty sen from each new Touch ‘n Go card sold was contributed and TNGSB then doubled the amount.
TNGSB’s Chief Operating Officer, Pn Hasni Zarina Mohamed Khan said, “We would like to thank all our customers as this contribution is made possible with their support.”

Rangkaian Segar is the operator of Touch ‘n Go cards and there are currently more than 4 million Touch ‘n Go cards in circulation. Touch ‘n Go is a multi-model card that can be used at toll lanes, public transports, selected parking places and theme parks. |
