Touch 'n Go Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd) LAUNCHES IT’S SECOND TOUCH ‘n GO HUB AT KL SENTRAL.

Kuala Lumpur, Saturday:- The second Touch ‘n Go Hub is now open at KL Sentral.

Launched today by Touch 'n Go Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd) Chairman YBhg Datuk Yahya Yaacob, the second Touch ‘n Go Hub is strategically located at the center of KL public transportation system, KL Sentral, which caters for the LRT system, KTM Komuter, Monorail and the ERL.

The Touch ‘n Go Hub offers services such as purchase of Touch ‘n Go cards and SmartTAG, reloads, enquiries regarding the Touch ‘n card services and other related services.

The first Touch ‘n Go Hub, located at Menara Faber, Taman Desa Kuala Lumpur, was launched last August by Works Minister YB Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu.

In his speech, TNGSB Chairman YBhg Datuk Yahya Yaacob said the location of this second Hub was most ideal, especially so in catering towards daily commuters traveling via the LRT, KTM Komuter and Monorail.

“They can now just drop by the Hub on their way to or back from using whichever public transport system, and reload their cards, or do any other transaction related to the Touch ‘n Go system”.

In his speech, Datuk Yahya also mentioned about this year being Touch ‘n Go’s 10th anniversary.

“We are proud to have come this far and Touch ‘n Go has grown from strength to strength and we could not have been here today if not for the support shown by all our customers”.

In conjunction with this 10th anniversary, Touch ‘n Go has also introduced a new reload amount, which is RM10.

“Hopefully, this new reload amount will attract especially the younger customers, as the amount is more affordable, especially to students and budget travelers”.

Touch ‘n Go has also recently introduced its Visit Malaysia Year 2007 Special Edition cards, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007. These Special Edition cards also offers its cardholders special discounts up to 15% at over 100 participating hotels nationwide throughout this year.

“This is our way of thanking our customers for their support and we hope more people will enjoy the convenience offered by using the Touch ‘n Go cards”.

TNGSB started its operations in Malaysia in March 1997. It’s headquarters is situated in Menara Faber Kuala Lumpur. Currently, there are more than 3 million Touch ‘n Go cards in circulation and over 500,000 SmartTAG users in the country. Touch ‘n Go is a multi-model card that can be used at toll lanes, public transports, selected parking places and theme parks.
