Touch 'n Go Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd) gave away free Touch ‘n Go cards to lucky motorists that pass through Sg Besi Toll Plaza, East – West Link Highway (Cheras Bound), Karak – KL Highway and Ampang Elevated Highway in conjunction with Merdeka celebration recently.

Motorists at Sg Besi Toll Plaza were pleasantly surprised to receive limited edition designs presented by TNGSB’s own Chief Operating Officer, Puan Basariah Abdul Latiff.

The cards pre loaded with the value of RM 5 is hoped to make the public more receptive towards using the Touch n’ Go cards.

“Many are aware of Touch ‘n Go card but they do not realize how convenient it is to travel using this card. Our giving them away for FREE is hoped to give the public a little push towards using the card on a permanent basis”, said Basariah.

The cards were distributed at four highways comprising the Karak – KL Highway, the Ampang Elevated Highway, East – West Link Highway (Cheras Bound) and North – South Highway.

The programme is also aimed towards increasing awareness on electronic payment system via Touch ‘n Go card to the public.
