30 Frequent Touch ‘n Go Customers Received Formula 1 Tickets

Touch 'n Go Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd), the operator of Touch ‘n Go and SmartTAG, today gave away F1 Grandstand Tickets and limited edition F1 shirts worth over RM30,000 as a token of appreciation to last year’s 30 most frequent Touch ‘n Go users.

According to TNGSB Chairman, Datuk Yahya Yaacob, they spent an average of more than RM900 per month from September to December last year, which is 12 times higher than the normal average spending of RM80.

He said, “not only that, due to their frequent usage of e-payment, it is not an overstatement to say that they are the forerunners who will lead the nation to achieve cashless society in the future.  We are very pleased to give them these rewards to show our appreciation for their support.”

He said this is the beginning to a more comprehensive customer loyalty programme which TNGSB intends to introduce in the future to reward and retain loyal Touch ‘n Go customers.

“In a modern and dynamic market today, customer-oriented services cannot be compromised.  We are always working hard together with our business partners to provide quality services,” he added.

TNGSB has recently expanded its sales and service network to over 1000 locations nationwide.  Apart from toll plazas at major highways, customers can also reload their Touch ‘n Go cards at over 40 Petronas Stations, 220 reload agents near housing and town areas as well as Automated Teller Machines provided by Maybank, Bank Bumiputera Commerce and Bank Muamalat.  Ambank is TNGSB’s most recent partner and first in the country to offer reload services via their Cash Deposit Machines (CDM) at 48 branches throughout the country.  The advantage of CDM is that customers do not have to be an account holder of the bank to enjoy the reload services.

As for Touch ‘n Go auto reload service linked to credit cards, it is currently offered by Hong Leong Bank, Affin Bank, EON Bank and Maybank.

Datuk Yahya said TNGSB is now concentrating on expanding Touch ‘n Go payment services at other avenues such as parking.  “Once we have build up a sizable market, definitely Touch ‘n Go and SmartTAG lanes will also increase accordingly”.

The selected Touch ‘n Go customers each receive 2 F1 Grand Tickets and a limited edition Touch ‘n Go F1 shirt.  They are:
