  • What is a Zing card?
    • A card issued by Touch ’n Go Sdn. Bhd. containing the Touch ’n Go chip with the credit facility for the purpose of auto-reload functions to enable the relevant credit card account to be debited with an amount equal to the auto reload value.
  • What are the conditions of Touch 'n Go Zing card application?
    • Open to MasterCard, VISA, AMEX and debit cardholders with the participating banks.
    • Cardholder may apply a Touch 'n Go Zing Card for every credit/debit card (one-to one concept).
  • May I know what are the participating banks?
    • As at 2012, the seven (7) participating banks are CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Affin Bank, AmBank, Maybank, AEON Credit Services and Bank Simpanan Nasional.
  • Can I link my manual Touch 'n Go card to Touch 'n Go Zing Auto-Reload Card?
    • No.
  • I have the Touch 'n Go manual reload card. Can I carry forward my unutilized balance to Touch 'n Go Zing Auto-Reload Card?
    • No, you may not. Please visit one of our participating banks to apply for zing card.
  • If I am already an existing credit card member, how can I apply for the Touch 'n Go Auto-reload Card?
    • Please visit the participating banks. The auto-reload facility is only valid for credit cards issued by participating banks.
  • How much is the 1st reload amount and the subsequent reload amount for auto-reload card?
    • HLB Debit Card will have a reload denomination of RM50 and CIMB will have a choice of 3 reload denominations: RM100, RM200 and RM300. The auto reload amount for all the other banks is RM100. The auto-reload will only happen at TOLL lanes.

      Every time the card balance reaches RM50, it will trigger the auto-reload mechanism to reload the pre-selected denomination into the card. Auto-reload is limited to ONE reload for every 24 hours.
  • Why is the threshold set at RM50?
    • This is to ensure that every auto reload cardholder will not be interrupted at lanes if their previous debit transactions face difficulties or being rejected. This will allow sometimes for the user to regularize his/her account and still be able to use his/her Touch 'n Go Zing Auto-Reload Card.
  • Can I specify the reloading amount e.g RM50 or RM200?
    • Except for CIMB and HLB Debit, your card will be reloaded with RM100 whenever the balance falls below the minimum threshold.
  • Can I manually “top – up” or reload my auto-reload card?
    • No, the Touch 'n Go Zing Card comes with an auto reload facility. Any manual reload activity will not be allowed.
  • What happens if I do not have enough balance in my card? Will I get stopped at the toll lane?
    • Yes. You may need to pay the difference by cash.
  • What happens if the credit/debit card cannot be debited?
    • TNGSB will block your card until the debiting process is approved by your bank. Users will be contacted by TNGSB if there is any problem in debiting their credit card.
  • How can I reactivate my card after my debit transaction has been approved?
    • You can reactivate your Touch 'n Go Zing Auto-Reload Card at our selected toll plaza offices.
  • Where can I use my Touch 'n Go Zing card?
    • The Zing card can be used at all Touch 'n Go point-of-usages, i.e. all participating highways, parking, public transports, retail merchants and theme parks.

      However, the auto-reload mechanism can only be triggered at highways.
  • What happens if I do not have enough balance in my card to use for public transport, parking and theme park?
    • You may pay by cash. Please ensure that you have sufficient balance when you plan to use your auto-reload card at those places.
  • Who should I refer to if I have problems with my card?
    • Please contact the participating banks or call us at 03-2714 8888.
  • What should I do if my Zing card is lost or stolen?
    • Please call the participating banks. You may call us to block the card from further usage.

      We will deactivate your lost card within 24 hours. For any refund, please contact the participating banks.
  • Is there any fee if I replace my Zing Auto-reload card?
    • Please refer to your bank. The new zing card does not have any stored value.
  • What happens if I did not report my lost Zing card immediately?
    • You are liable for all transactions until you have successfully reported the lost card to us (Touch 'n Go Careline Centre).
  • If I voluntarily terminated the Touch 'n Go Zing Auto-Reload Card after 6 months, can I get back the annual fees paid earlier?
    • There is no annual fee for zing card. There may be a reload fee for each reload transactions.
  • ​Will there be any Malaysian Goods & Services Tax (GST) charges if I am using a Zing card?

    • Yes, (GST) will be imposed on fees / charges due and payable upon GST implementation and where GST is applicable. It is chargeable to goods and services by the company to customers from 1 April 2015.
